Jeffrey J. Lavelle
President + CEO
Jeff has spent 24 years in the hospitality industry as a Restaurant
Controller prior to opening Strictly Restaurants™. His immense
success is attributed in part to his detailed work experiences in various
positions within the restaurant industry and his strong financial
background. Jeff and his family previously owned and operated their own
Restaurant/Deli for several years. His last full time position as
CFO/Controller was with French Chef David Bouley which led them to
start Strictly Restaurants thereafter. As being a industry insider,
Jeff has come to understand what each and every position and individual
brings to the success or failure of a restaurant.
Jeff has worked both the FOH (front of the house) and the BOH (back of the house) in various capacities then transitioned his way into the corporate office and is presently, the owner of his own business. He has the expertise and experience to turn a less profitable restaurant into a profitable business or an average restaurant into a Michelin star worthy place. Whether you are looking to make a profit, increase your customer base, or take your restaurant to the next level of successful management, Jeff and his team has what it takes to make it successful.
Social Media Operations
Valeria is a native of Las Vegas and a recent graduate from the Westminster Choir College with a Bachelor’s in Voice Performance. Her role is to create and maintain a strong online presence for Strictly Restaurants™ and its clientele through social media operations.
Heather Caldwell is the Administrative Assistant to the President of Strictly Restaurants™, Jeff Lavelle. In this position Heather provides administrative assistance to the president and to the Controller of the company, Timothy Dunleavy. Heather also has other duties such as processing payroll for multiple clients of the business, running reports pertaining to that payroll. Heather assists with accounts payable duties, reviewing statements, entering in missing invoices and paying bills for the various clients. Heather is currently working on several special projects as well. Heather joined the Strictly Restaurants™ Team in April of 2017.
Barry is a seasoned accounting professional with more than 30 years of experience with both public and corporate accounting firms. His areas of practice have included the hospitality industry, service sector, manufacturing, financial services and retail and wholesale operations. He has been with our firm for more than a year, originally as Assistant Controller and now Controller.
Kim Snow joined our firm in March 2018 and brings with her over 5 years of financial experience within the hospitality sector. She holds a degree in general science from Cerritos College in Norwalk, California but decided to apply the “Scientific Method” to her passion for restaurant financial management. She worked for a Kombucha Tea production company in San Diego, and provided restaurant management services in both Los Angeles and New York City. Recently she has been applying her financial skills to assist restaurants in areas of Payroll, Accounts Payable, Receivable and Sales Tax Preparation in Central New Jersey. Kim is taking additional classes at BMCC to further her knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping practices.
Peter has multiple responsibilities including generating client bank reconciliations, bill pay, general ledger accounting functions, daily flash reports, budgets, new client account setups using the Compeat Accounting Software. Peter's focus includes working on strategic planning for the growth of Strictly Restaurants™ as well as our clients through analyzing current trends and operations, while projecting and researching potential future opportunities. His past experience in the restaurant industry includes all aspects of the Front of the House positions. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Accounting from Rider University.
Field Audit Associate & Representative
Amy has over 10+ years of restaurant experience working with many high-end establishments. She started in entry level positions in the hospitality industry and worked her way up to senior level positions including FOH management and corporate training. Amy started her financial career in Orlando, Florida with Church Street Concepts, a group of downtown nightclubs where she learned everything about what makes the nightlife establishments so successful. Then she transitioned to New York City where she assistant the Financial Manager of Dining Entertainment Group in finance and corporate management. Amy’s depth of experience and knowledge in the hospitality and finance industry makes her a strong asset to the Strictly Restaurant team as the Field Audit Associate.
Alex brings to Strictly Restaurants several years of industry experience focuses accounting principles, strong business research and has deep knowledge of diverse accounting systems beneficial to client management. Alex plays a key role on the team with her strong attention to detail to help maintain strong relations with clients and business management.
Senior Client Relations and Operations Coordinator
Peter graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor's of Arts in International Relations and a minor in Japanese. He serves to ensure the smoothness and efficiency of clientele operations through rapport and dedication. He has undertaken general accounts payable roles and creative consultation of clientele brands, online presence, as well as general public relations.
Liam has worked on the Strictly Restaurant™ Accounting team for the last 3 years. He is a devoted professional, hardworking and detailed oriented in dealing with client accounts He possesses excellent industry knowledge in various accounting systems knows Excel like the back of his hand. He is currently in the process of completing a degree in Accounting at Mercer County Community College and plans on pursing a senior level position within the company.
Disney is a well-organized, detail oriented accounting professional
with strong organizational and communication skills.
She has a proven background in accounting principles, research and resolution skills, along with data analysis and multi-tasking skills. Her past industry experiences includes several positions in finance and bookkeeping. Her current responsibilities including processing invoices including vendor payments, communicating with vendors emails to solve accounting related issues, process bank reconciliation and post accounting entries..
